Champagne/Taupe Striped Walls

I recently found out my cousin Katie is expecting a baby! Not having a sister of my own, naturally I feel like I'm a soon-to-be an Auntie! We were emailing back and forth about nursery ideas and one really stood out to us: champagne and taupe striped walls. This idea is brilliant for a baby's room because it's neutral. Adding a touch of blue or pink can also make the room gender specific without having one color overpower the room.  Walls with bold patterns patterns can make a big statement but the champagne/taupe color really softens the stripes and makes them baby appropriate. This is a brilliant idea and I'm dying to try this out. Maybe a random wall in my house will get a makeover this weekend....
